What Is Playback?
Playback Theatre is an improvisational, interactive form of theater which originated more than 30 years ago and now has worldwide presence. During a Playback performance, an audience member tells a story from their personal experience, then chooses cast members to play the significant characters. The cast then recreates that story on stage through drama, movement and music, giving it artistic shape and coherence.
